Near spawn you will see activity, small bases, destroyed attempts, unfinished projects and the outline of conflict. The farther you walk, the quieter it gets. Once you set up somewhere nobody has bothered with yet, it feels like your own pocket of vanilla Minecraft where you make the rules.
