What is a Towny Minecraft Server?

A Towny Minecraft server allows players to claim land, also known as plots, in which they can build whatever creation they desire. This creates a town-like setting with many houses and paths between them. Many Towny servers host elections and nominate players to take on roles within the towns and allow players to have access to different size plots with different ranks.

Minecraft Version 1.11.1 Servers

Here is a list of supported Minecraft Version 1.11.1 Servers. This means that if you run Minecraft with the version 1.11.1 you will be able to login and play on any of them! Please note that server owners have the ability to recommend a supported version themselves if they feel you will get a better experience using that instead.

Changes that came in Minecraft 1.11.1 include: Iron nuggets are added to Minecraft, recieved when smelting iron tools and armour. Sweeping Edge has been added as a new Enchance which increases the damage of a weapon. Fireworks now have the ability to injure mobs depending on how close they are to the explosion and some further enchants got tweaks on how they worked. You can find a full update list here.
